Townsville General Practice Network

Welcome!

The Townsville General Practice Network represents nearly all the GPs of the adjoining cities of Townsville and Thuringowa. Magnetic Island is part of Townsville.

This part of Tropical Australia is alive and flourishing. We have our own medical school, already producing great GPs for our residents, but we are always looking for fresh talent.

It is commonly said that we are “too far away” to consider, but it only takes about 1½ hours from here to Brisbane by ’plane and 2½ hours to Sydney.

So have a look around our site, feel free to comment and ask questions, and then come for an inspection!

If you would like to become a member of TGPN, please complete the appropriate application form, attach a copy of your current registration certificate and either fax to 4725 8921 or pos to PO Box 7780, Garbutt, BC QLD 4814.

GP Membership (for Townsville GPs and GP Registrars)
Associate Membership (for Specialists, Allied Health Professionals, GP Interns, Practice Managers and Practice Nurses)
Student Members (for 5th and 6th year Medical Students)

Finding Us

We are located at Unit 3 / 106 Dalrymple Service Road, Currajong, approximately 3 km from the Townsville airport and a similar distance from the CBD.
