Overview

Afterhours+GP is a general practice that has been established by Townsville General Practice Network (TGPN) to provide our community with access to urgent medical treatment outside of normal general practice hours. Afterhours+GP is co-operative of local GPs working together to care for our community.

The Afterhours+GP Clinic has been set-up as a typical general practice with consulting rooms, treatment areas, reception area and is staffed with GPs, a Registered Nurse (RN) and Receptionist.

Hours

A Doctor is in attendance between:

• Monday to Friday                       6pm - 10pm
• Saturday                                     12noon - 10pm
• Sunday and Public Holidays        8am - 10pm

After 10pm still ring 1300 552 252

Callers between 10pm and 8am will be asked a series of question and directed to the most appropriate service.

Consultation Fee

This is a private billing service. Patients attending the Afterhours+GP practice will be billed at the following rates*:

For your convenience, we accept cash, cheques, credit cards and EFTPOS

*        Payment is required at the time of consultation.

**      Medicare rebate varies depending the item number charged
         (i.e. treatment received)

***    Multiple services incur additional charges
