Asthma Information Faxback System

The Asthma Foundation of Queensland has established an asthma information faxback system, to assist with dissemination of information to people with asthma. The primary target area is general practice, but it is open to all health professionals.

The system entails filling out a fax form (supplied by Asthma Foundation of QLD) with the details of the patient. The patient signs their consent to have their address details supplied only for the purpose of receiving asthma information. There is a selection of packs ranging from under 5s to over 50s and all in between. The information will generally be sent out within 24 hours of receiving the fax.
